I recently received a powerpoint review of Peter Menzel's book "Hungry Planet". He travelled to countries all over the world to see what an average family in that country consumed in a week, and how much it cost. He then took a photo of the family with their weekly groceries. It is such a simple idea, yet very compelling. These photos say so much. I think people need to draw their own conclusions, so although I could go on and on, just check out the book.
