Mr. Greenjeans

Mr. Greenjeans Welcomes everyone in agriculture, and anyone else who would like to learn more about where their food comes from, how it is produced, and the global and local effects of modern agriculture.

It seems that we live in a world where people either have no food, or such abundant quantities that it is no longer of any value to people. Here in Canada, we live in a place where many things such as electronics are much cheaper than ten years ago. Of course people expect cheap food. Unfortunately, cheap food is like cheap electronics, the quality just isn't there.

Mr Greenjeans believes that it is time to re-discover the pleasure of eating wholesome, quality produce. Food that our grandparents enjoyed. Fifty years ago, everyone had a grandparent, uncle or cousin still on the farm. Now people don't even know where their food comes from or how it is produced. How can a consumer hope to make the right choices?
